Born as Hala Yahya she also worked as production accountant on the television comedy Perfect People (1988), the television series Cheers and South of Sunset (1993), the comedy Kangaroo Jack (2003), the television comedy Married Not Dead (2009, with Miriam Flynn), the television comedy This Little Piggy (2009), and the television comedy Who Gets the Parents (2010).
Prior to her work as accountant, Gabriel was an assistant editor on the horror comedy House (1986), assistant property master on the television series Michael Nesmith in Television Parts (1985), set dresser on the action thriller Assassination (1987, with Jill Ireland), assistant auditor on the television series Great Performances (1987), and assistant accountant on the thriller Cold Steel (1987).
In 2002 she worked as director and executive producer on the short documentary The Love Project for which she won the Silver Award in the category Documentary - Short at the WorldFest Houston the following year. She also worked as production supervisor on the television series Wildfire (2005) and as associate producer on the television documentary Kitchen Trends 2005.
More recently, Gabriel was production accountant on the television series Man Up (2011), Melissa & Joey (2010-2011), and House of Lies (2012).
