Guy Raymond (1 July 191126 January 1997; age 85) was the actor from New York who played the Trader in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "The Trouble with Tribbles". He filmed his scenes on Monday 28 August 1967 and Tuesday 29 August 1967 at Desilu Stage 10. Footage of his appearance was later used in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fifth season episode "Trials and Tribble-ations", only two months before his death.

Raymond appeared in a handful of feature films and also made several television appearances. His film credits include the 1959 science fiction movie 4D Man, starring fellow Original Series guest actors Robert Lansing and Lee Meriwether, 1961's Sail a Crooked Ship, with another Original Series guest star, Frank Gorshin, 1963's It Happened at the World Fair, featuring original series actors Gary Lockwood and Yvonne Craig, The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming (1966), with Deep Space Nine guest star Brian Keith and Original Series guest star Andrea Dromm, The Ballad of Josie (1967), with Original Series guest stars Paul Fix and John Fiedler, and 1969's The Undefeated, with Lee Meriwether and Paul Fix.

On television, Raymond was a regular cast member on the sitcom Harris Against the World, which lasted only one season from 1964 through 1965. In 1969, he had a role in the 1969 TV movie The Flim-Flam Man, co-starring fellow Original Series guest actor James Gregory, and in 1976, he co-starred with Harris Yulin, Granville Van Dusen, Gerrit Graham, and Ian Wolfe in the TV movie Dynasty. Raymond also guest-starred on several popular TV series besides Star Trek, including Gunsmoke, The Twilight Zone, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Green Acres, and The Beverly Hillbillies. He had a recurring role as Mr. Peavey, an odd-jobs man, in the television series The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1968-70).

Raymond was the stepfather of actress Hallie Todd, who played Lal in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Offspring". Raymond died in Santa Monica, California in 1997.
