The Guernica system was a star system that was located in Federation space. A Federation outpost was located in this system during the mid-24th century.

In 2367, the USS Enterprise-D brought scientific equipment from Starbase 313 to this outpost. (TNG: "Galaxy's Child")

The Guernica system was named for the Spanish city of Guernica, where the German Condor Legion created a massacre during the Spanish Civil War in 1937. Pablo Picasso made a painting entitled Guernica dramatizing the horror of the bombing. (citation needededit)
