In an illusion created by Barash for William Riker, Greenburg was a teacher onboard the Enterprise-D in 2383. One of his pupils was Jean-Luc Riker, whom he asked about the Fornax Disaster, but Jean-Luc didn't know the exact stardate. (TNG: "Future Imperfect")
