(written from a Production point of view)

Gordon Belljohns (G.B.) Love (9 September 193917 January 2001; age 61) was an author and editor credited as "the driving force of comics fandom in South Florida and one of the main forces of comics fandom in its infancy." [1] He was the founding editor of the influential fanzine The Rocket's Blast. He suffered from cerebral palsy, but did not let this interfere with his work.

He worked on The Best of Trek series with Walter Irwin, both as co-editors of the fanzine Trek. This caused some disagreements with James Van Hise over the ownership and copyrights of contributions to the series as Love "had a certain editorial policy about owning" all such contributions himself. ("G.B. Love and Early Comics Fandom" in The Rocket's Blast and the Comicollector Vol. 2 #2: "Special Edgar Rice Burroughs Issue" – Summer 2001)
