Gnome Press was a publishing house on Earth which specialized in science fiction stories.

One of Albert Macklin's novels was accepted for publication by Gnome Press, and although he tried not to make a big deal of it, Darlene Kursky, the secretary at Incredible Tales where Albert worked, thought it was big news. (DS9: "Far Beyond the Stars")

In the novelization of Far Beyond the Stars, Macklin's novel was called Infrastructure.
In the real world, Gnome Press was the publisher for Isaac Asimov's short story collection, I, Robot. (Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 307))
