Gloria Albarran Ponce is a hair stylist who worked on Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Voyager. This work earned her two Emmy Award nominations in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series for her work on the episode "Caretaker" in 1995, shared with Josée Normand, Patricia Miller, Shawn McKay, Karen Asano-Myers, Dino Ganziano, Rebecca De Morrio, Barbara Minster, Janice D. Brandow, Caryl Codon-Tharp, Katherine Rees, Virginia Kearns, Patricia Vecchio, Faith Vecchio, and Audrey Levy, and in 1999 for the episode "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang", shared with Norma Lee, Brian A. Tunstall, Gloria Pasqua Casny, Rebecca De Morrio, Laura Connolly, Lauren Upshaw, Frank Fontaine, Tim Jones, Susan Zietlow-Maust, Angela Gurule, Virginia Grobeson, and Linda Sharp.

In 2008, Ponce worked as hair department head on the television series Mad Men. This work earned her an Emmy Award win in the category Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single Camera Series in 2009, shared with Katherine Rees and Michele Payne. [1]

Other projects, Ponce worked as hair stylist on include the drama American Me (1992), the television thriller Natural Selection (1994), The Odd Couple II (1998), Bowfinger (1999), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), and the television series The Single Guy (1995), 7th Heaven (1996), Ally McBeal (1998), Angel, Working (1997-1999), Two and a Half Men (2004-2005), Phil of the Future (2005-2006), Shark (2006-2007), Greek (2011), The Ex List (2011), and Switched at Birth (2011-2012).

More recently, she worked as hair department head on the television movie Gulliver Quinn (2012) and as hair stylist on the thriller Columbus Circle (2012, with David Abbott, Don Rutherford, and Deborah Rutherford) and the drama Saving Mr. Banks (2013).
