Glen Hambly, These Are the Voyages

Glen Hambly on the set of "These Are the Voyages..."

Glen Hambly (born 27 July 1963; age 60) is an actor who was a regular background performer on Star Trek: Enterprise during the four year run of the series, normally playing Andorians, and at least one Star Trek: Voyager episode. As a background actor he received no credit for his appearances. [1]

Two of his appearances as a Starfleet ensign were cut out of the episodes. He appeared in scene 2 along with Dawn Drake and Dennis Cockrum in the mess hall in the first season episode "Two Days and Two Nights", which he filmed on Friday 22 March 2002 on Paramount Stage 8, and was working in the shuttlebay in the episode "Shockwave". These scenes were later included in the ENT Season 1 DVD.

Hambly was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since December 1992, he is married to Tamara, who also appeared as a background actress on several Enterprise episodes.

Beside his work on Star Trek, Hambly was a Human stunt slave in the 2001 science fiction remake Planet of the Apes, which featured David Warner, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Eileen Weisinger, Erick Avari, and Kevin Grevioux. Other film appearances include the comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003, with Robert Picardo, Dick Miller, George Murdock, Ron Perlman, and Frank Welker), the comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004, with Holmes Osborne) and its sequel Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie (2004, also with Osborne and with Stephen Root), and the comedy The Untitled Onion Movie (2008, with Daniel Dae Kim, Len Cariou, Tom Wright, Don McManus, and Scott Klace).

Hambly acted in several television series, including the 2004 Angel episode "Time Bomb", alongside Jeff Yagher. [2]
