Professor Gideon Seyetik was a Federation terraformer. Some of his work includes the planets Blue Horizon and New Halana. In 2370, the USS Prometheus was assigned to assist Seyetik in a project where he used protomatter in an attempt to reignite the star Epsilon 119. The professor appreciated the works of the Klingon poet G'Trok, who wrote "The Fall of Kang", which is required reading atStarfleet Academy. Seyetik once visited Terosa Prime, where his wife Nidell almost died when she lost control of her psycho-projective telepathy and created an alter ego, Fenna.
He later piloted a shuttlecraft into a sun killing himself, nut successfully reigniting the dead sun.
