Template:Realworld Gerry Sackman was a music editor on all seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the first ten episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's third season, and all seven seasons of Star Trek: Voyager. He helped TNG win four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series. His work also helped earn TNG another three Sound Editing Emmy nominations and helped earn Voyager two nominations.

In addition to his work on the Star Trek franchise, Sackman was also a sound editor on a number of made-for-TV movies, including When Billie Beat Bobby (2001, featuring Bob Gunton, Patrick Kerr, Michael Cavanaugh, Paul Collins, Tom Ormeny, Leonard Kelly-Young, Scott Klace and Andrei Sterling) and two 2003 Eloise movies for Disney (Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmastime), both featuring David Sparrow.
