Gerald J. Solomon is a hair stylist who worked on the first through third seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Solomon received three Emmy Award nominations in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series for his work on Deep Space Nine:

Solomon previously received Emmy Award nominations in the category Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series for his work on Dynasty in 1986, 1987, and 1988. He shared all three nominations with Cherie Huffman and the first with Linda Sharp. In 1990, he received another Emmy Award nomination for the Murder, She Wrote episode "When the Fat Lady Sings" which he shared with Ronald W. Smith, Rita Bellissimo, and Dino Ganziano.

Beside his work on Knots Landing (1983), Murder, She Wrote, Dynasty (1985-1989, starring Joan Collins), and Deep Space Nine, Solomon worked on a number of television movies including The Archer: Fugitive from the Empire (1981), the drama Sweet Revenge (1984, with Alfre Woodard and Merritt Butrick), Guilty Conscience (1985), and Balloon Farm (1999).

In addition, Solomon worked on Bustin' Loose (1981, with Michael F. Blake), Zoot Suit (1981), The Last Starfighter (1984, with Werner Keppler, Audrey Levy, Rick Stratton, and Brian Wade), Tin Cup (1996, with James Lee McCoy and Francisco X. Perez), Trial and Error (1997, with Laura Connolly), Men in Black (1997), and Air Force One (1997).
