AT: "xx" Georgia was a region located on the Atlantic coast of the North American continent of Earth. This was a state in the United States of America. The bordering states were Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Atlanta was one of the state's cities. (DS9: "Little Green Men"; ENT: "Storm Front", "Storm Front, Part II")

In 1864, during the American Civil War, General William T. Sherman lead a destructive march to Atlanta. One of the battles fought on this march was the Battle of Pine Mountain. Colonel Thaddius Riker was the commander of the 102nd New York Infantry in this battle. (VOY: "Death Wish")

It was a notable producer of peaches, some of which Trip once gave T'Pol in 2153. (ENT: "Extinction")

In 2267, while on Omicron Ceti III, Doctor Leonard McCoy offered Captain James T. Kirk a "...real cold Georgia-style mint julep...". (TOS: "This Side of Paradise")

In an alternate timeline in which Nazi Germany had invaded the United States, as of 1944 Georgia was controlled by American forces. (ENT: "Storm Front", "Storm Front, Part II")
