George Primmin

Lieutenant George Primmin (2369)

George Primmin was a member of Starfleet Security. He became a security officer in 2363. He was assigned to Deep Space 9 in 2369.

He first assignment was to make sure a deuridium shipment from the Gamma Quadrant passed through the space station safely. He clashed with Constable Odo, who took Primmin's assignment there as an insult. Odo came to respect Primmin after the latter found a subspace crossover shunt, placed there by Rao Vantika, that would have disabled the station for hours, giving Vantika time to steal the deuridium shipment. (DS9: "The Passenger")

Several weeks later, Primmin was the only senior officer left after the Wadi transported the senior officers into one of their games, Chula. (DS9: "Move Along Home")

Primmin was played by James Lashly. Deep Space 9 would not have another Starfleet Security officer until Michael Eddington was assigned there in 2371.
