In 2007 he wrote his first professional fiction work, the story "Suicide Note" in the The Sky's the Limit anthology (which also appeared in the Star Trek: The Manga volume "Kakan ni Shinkou"). In 2008 his first full-length novel, "The Chimes At Midnight" was published in the Myriad Universes book, Echoes and Refractions.
