Gary O'Brien is an artist who contributed to the 2016 Star Trek: Ships of the Line calendar with a picture of the USS Enterprise-D featuring on the cover.
He is also the co-writer and director of the fan films Chance Encounter (2017) and The Holy Core (2019) both set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation era, but featuring all original characters.
