The Gamma Hydra sector is a sector of space on the Federation border, near Romulan space. Sections 14 and 15 are near the border, and Section 10 is within the Klingon neutral zone. This sector is probably named for the nearby Gamma Hydra system. (TOS: "The Deadly Years"; Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
