It seems to be near the Tholian Assembly, Berengaria, and Janus VI on the chart.
The planet's name was a tip-of-the-hat to the Companion's homeworld seen in TOS: "Metamorphosis"," although this planet was not named on screen and may or may not be Gamma Canaris N.
