Galaxy Magazine was a science fiction magazine on Earth in the 1950s. It featured the work of some of the genre's greatest writers including Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, and Theodore Sturgeon.
It was the main competition to Incredible Tales and was held up by Herbert Rossoff as a superior publication. (DS9: "Far Beyond the Stars")
- The cover image of Galaxy seen in the episode Far Beyond the Stars was a matte painting of a planet for Star Trek: The Original Series.
