Gail Arias is a dancer, choreographer, instructor, and actress who appeared as a bar patron in the Star Trek: Voyager second season episode "Lifesigns" for which she filmed her scene on Wednesday 3 January 1996 on Paramount Stage 16. Together with her husband Jamie Arias, she also worked as choreographer on this episode for the dancing sequence between Robert Picardo and Susan Diol.

For over twenty years, Arias has been a leading in the fitness, health, wellness and dance industry. She trained dance at the UCLA, at the Dance Center West, the Hollywood Dance Center, the Westmore Studio, and the Sloan and Sloan Studio, is a certified yoga instructor with the Samata Yoga Institute, a certified pilates instructor, a member of the Aerobic Fitness Association of America, and holds a bachelor of science in nutrition.

She worked as runway and print model for Perry Ellis Couture, Macy's, Pasadena Atlethic Club, Big 5, and Neiman Marcus, was the principal fitness model for "Gravity Boots" and "Inversion Table", and has been featured in magazines such as American Airlines, Dance Australia, Society Magazine, Omni Magazine, Vitality Magazine, and Dance Action.

Arias was among the finalists in the Super Model of the World Search hosted by Elite Modeling Agency, won the first place in the 1990 Los Angeles Lambada Championship, was between 1991 and 1994 among the US Open Championship finalists, received the Feather Award in 1994 and 1995, won the first place in the 1995 World Swing Dance Champion in Anaheim, California and in 1996 in the Swing Dance Championship in California, became Mrs. Thousand Oaks and Mrs. California International in 2000, and was included in the West Coast Swing Dance Hall of Fame in 2006. Together with her husband she choreographed dancing segments for an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger (1999), Sears and Toyota commercials, a Lambada Workout video, Miss California contestants dance segments, the Soul Train Music Awards, and the Worl Class Productions Inc. Global Tour since 2000. They also performed for the latter tour and on projects such as Playboy Jazz Festival, Las Vegas Revues, the Duran Duran Rio Tour, the concert of the Beach Boys at the Shrine Auditorium, Alliance for the Arts, the Tai Chi sequence in Morgan Fairchild's stress management video, the 2004 Inaugural Awards, and the production "Nights in Vienna" in 2004.

In addition, Arias appeared as a dancer in The Young and the Restless, The Learning Channel, Nip/Tuck, Still Standing, Gilmore Girls, and Lucky and was featured in "E" Entertainment!, Orange County on the Move, and 11:00 News.
