From Here to Eternity was a 1953 film based on the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. It stars Burt Lancaster and Frank Sinatra.

From Here to Eternity featured music by composer George Duning. Also, TOS director Joseph Sargent appeared in a smaller role in the film.
This film, according to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 287), was produced by Columbia Pictures and was about American military officers prior to the start of World War II.
