Fred Raimondi is a visual effects artist, filmmaker and director who worked as visual effects compositor and visual effects editor for The Post Group on several episodes of the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Raimondi previously worked as visual effects compositor on the television series The Twilight Zone (1986-1987) and Max Headroom (1987-1988, with Patrick Clancey and Sam Nicholson) and as additional editor on the music documentary Sign 'o' the Times (1987). Raimondi worked as visual effects design editor on the television series Freddy's Nightmares (1988), as digital compositor for Digital Domain on the action film True Lies (1994), as visual effects supervisor on the short film Grasp (2002) and the television comedy Smooch (2011), and as director and additional editor on the short film Heloise (2010).

In 2008 he was nominated for a Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Broadcast Program or Commercial. Also in 2008, after fifteen years, he left Digital Domain to work fulltime as director, photographer, and artist on his own.
