So I watched Star Trek VI today and started wondering about the klingon empire. Discussions were talking about evacuating Kronos yet the planet is still inhabited during the STNG timeline. I thought I would check out memory alpha to see if there was an explanation.
In addition to not really finding an explanation, I found a continuity error. Praxis is listed as being in the beta quadrant (no doubt due to captain Sulu's log entry stating they had finished their mission in the beta quadrant) yet Kronos is listed as being in the alpha quadrant and praxis as one of it's moons. Somehow I doubt it is in both places. Can somebody explain?
- The Klingons are identified as an Alpha Quadrant species in several episodes. Praxis is identified as a Klingon moon. Not as a moon of Qo'noS. It is possible, that like Earth, Qo'nos is located near the 'terminator' between the Alpha and Beta Quadrant.
