Would it be possible to update the site search engine so that it gives close matches to searches made, as occurs on sites such as Google? I was searching for information on a character last night and could not find anything so I started a new page, only to be informed that I had spelt the character's name incorrectly. --Nosfer2 14:47, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know about updating the search engine myself, but often when searching for stuff, one of the "sins" committed is that people search for people with their title, such as "Captain Picard" or "Mr Spock", which often doesn't find what they're looking for. - I'm not sure how much control we have over the Wikia search function, but there is the search box on the Main Page that Bp wrote. I think it was designed with this in mind. --OuroborosCobra talk 16:30, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
