Somebody needs to do a rewrite of the article about MA on Wikipedia, IMHO, especially the section on current issues. That whole section is extremely POV, and sounds like whoever wrote it has an ax to grind with us. The article was up for deletion earlier this month, but the VfD was soundly rejected. There also seems to be an edit war going on there over the inclusion of the following sentence:

Another issue is Memory Alpha's various copyright infringements by listing the lyrics of non-public domain songs, such as "Where My Heart Will Take Me", the theme song of Enterprise.

It makes it sound like it's both a major problem and a major issue. My guess is that it was penned (and put back multiple times) by the same person that was giving us grief over the issue earlier on our talk pages.

The article was a Wikipedia FA at one time, but the FA status was revoked for both OR and lack of citeable sources. All in all, I think we could have a better presence there than we do now. Thoughts? -- Renegade54 20:03, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I Log on once or twice a week to memory alpha and take great pleasure reading the various articles however on March31 I logged on and read the main line across the top "We are currently experiencing technical communism. Please stand by ON WHEELS!!!!!!" which to me suggests a hacker has decided to spoil memory alpha for some unknown reason I am writing to find out if I am wrong. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.200.18.154.

I believe the official title of that song is "Faith of the Heart". Survic84401 20:55, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

It seems to have had both titles: Template:Brokenlink but the Enterprise version was correctly named here. --TribbleFurSuit 22:03, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

It's official title when originally written and performed was "Faith of the Heart." It's official title changed to "Where My Heart Will Take Me" when it was re-done for Enterprise. The original version is still called "Faith of the Heart," but the Enterprise version is "Where My Heart Will Take Me." --From Andoria with Love 08:15, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
