Hopefully someone here is a big TNG Novel Buff. I used to read them like crazy when I was a teen, but it's been a LONG time. I remember reading in one of the Novels about what I think I recall was an 'alternate reality' version of Riker, who was imprisoned on some alien world, and he was referred to by his captors only as "Number 8" or "Number 18" Or something along those lines. I thought it was Imzadii (Peter David), but I don't think that's the case after re-viewing it's info on here and Wikipedia. If anyone can point me to the book, and what the character was called, I'd greatly appreciate it. And yes, I've scoured Google, Wikipedia, and here with no luck.
