I know that most of the LCARS displays were done with painted plastic/plexiglass and moving lights, but in TNG how were complicated moving displays done? (For example, in "The Defector" there's a screen showing a Warbird chasing a Romulan scout) Did they use rear projection? Something else? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 178.71.46.15 (talk).

I think any moving images were placed in the shot in post-production, much like images on the viewscreen. 31dot (talk) 19:02, September 11, 2013 (UTC)
