I was hoping someone might be able to explain to me how to make an image show that is hosted on an external site. For example, I want to make an image appear in my signature that is 20px in size but is hosted on Wikipedia. I know how to show the link to that image, but not how to display the image itself. Any help would be appreciated. --| TrekFan Open a channel 21:39, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Please do not put any images in signatures. The only place external images are allowed is on your user pages.
Do note that some user pages (ie Archduk3's) have examples of off-site images used. -- sulfur 22:05, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
To clarify, MA:IMAGE states "Finally, images are not to be used in signatures, and any image link used in such a way will be removed by an administrator."--31dot 22:08, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I guess that idea's been well and truly crushed! Never mind, it's not big issue anyway. --| TrekFan Open a channel 22:51, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
