Help! I can't make userboxes! Can you make them on memory alpha, or is it only on other wikis? Maybe I have been using wookieepedia for too long. Please help. --Windu223 20:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Er... what kind of "userbox"? -- Sulfur 21:13, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm also a wookieepedian, and they have userboxes there. Its a box that may say for example: This user loves the borg. And there would be a picture the borg queen or one. That is a userbox. Maybe they don't have them here. I'm new.--Windu223 21:16, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

We don't really do that here, just like we don't allow personal use images either. --OuroborosCobra talk 21:23, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Oh, i'll get used to it. Thanks for the help!--Windu223 21:28, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

The only userboxes that are currently in MA-wide use are those for the Babel Project (i.e. language boxes). There's really nothing preventing you from creating your userbox on your own user page, but we (deliberately) don't have any that are already created as templates (other than the language ones). A few people have created one or two of their own, though, but off-hand I don't know where they are. -- Renegade54 23:58, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
The closest personalized userbox I found was on User:Sdamon, which is just a customized implementation of Template:Babel field 0. - Intricated talk page 21:25, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
If you want to create your own userboxes you could probably play with the code available on WP:UBX--172.147.60.167 23:38, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
