Does anyone use, or even watch, this forum ([1])? I know I don't. Perhaps we should remove links to that page, either completely or at least from pages that imply that we can be contacted by posting there (Memory Alpha:Contact us, for example). I believe that the "internal" forum system we now have, combined with alternate ways like talk pages and even the active IRC chat, is more than enough for all purposes? -- Cid Highwind 16:44, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

I pop over there occasionally to see if it is being used, but I don't think there has been a single new thread related to MA since I registered here in late May. I do not think it is worth keeping those links. Our internal forum system works just fine for what we need. --OuroborosCobra talk 16:48, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I agree that we shouldn't say (or imply) that we can be contacted there; the forums, talk pages, and IRC channel that we have give us plenty of ways to be in contact with each other and with users. I do think, though, it's valid to direct users there who want to discuss Trek in general, or to knock around issues, complaints, nitpicks, whatever, about episodes, directors, characters, etc.... which we actively discourage here. -- Renegade54 11:40, 17 October 2006 (PDT)
