Is there anywhere on this wiki that is similar to Wikipedia's Requests for comment? I started a thread on an article about splitting it but it has had no replies, so I'm looking for somewhere to comment about it so that it might get more attention. Also, could somebody link me to this wiki's policy on splitting articles? Thanks. J Di 20:03, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

No. But also consider, that unlike Wikipedia, this site might take a whole day to turnover the recent changes page, whereas WP can completely flush the RC in a matter of minutes. Overall meaning: waiting a day and a half and not getting a response is not out of the norm for MA. --Alan 20:08, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Half a minute is more like Wikipedia. But to the point... I can appreciate that this is a much smaller wiki than Wikipedia with a user base a fraction of the size. It's just, my edit to the page is no longer in this wiki's RC and I'd like to be sure that somebody notices the edit and agrees or disagrees with my proposal before I go ahead and start making massive changes. Either way, thank you for your reply, much appreciated. J Di 20:12, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

As an aside, the page in question is Talk:Holodeck‎. -- sulfur 20:27, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Heh thanks, didn't want to look as though I was canvassing. J Di 20:37, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
