- In the background information section, not in the sidebar, and runtimes should note which home video release it comes from, be it VHS, DVD, or Blu-ray, because I'm betting there is a few seconds difference between them. - Archduk3 09:51, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
- It might be worth noting the runtime of each act (between commercial breaks), which I think would vary more per episode then the totals would. - Archduk3 11:09, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
- Runtimes are "fixed" in terms of minutes, but the seconds vary. Take for example the TV show Lie to Me from a couple of years back with Tim Roth. The first four episodes from season 2 are all "43 minutes long", but range from 42:55 through to 43:25 (rounding to 5s). I'm not entirely convinced that having the times down to the second is really worthwhile, but YMMV. -- sulfur (talk) 11:38, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
- I think it would be very nice for runtimes to be noted somewhere. Runtimes don't vary much when comparing episodes from the same season of the same series, but TOS was generally around 50 minutes or so per episode for its entire run, while ENT was 43 minutes or so per episode for its last 3 seasons. Perhaps it's something that could be noted in the season articles (such as TOS Season 2), like a typical episode runtime, down to the minute, for that season. -- CALQL8 (talk) 05:58, June 13, 2014 (UTC)
