I'm trying to have a cleaner layout of my user page and noticed there was a list that had 2 sub-items so I though that wikicode is just shortcuts for creating HTML and that one may create embedded list in the later, that it was likely possible in the former, although some wiki plug-in might be required.

The following is the preview of my attempt to modify User:DynV#Best_serie :

I have generalized the code which I used for a more suitable example, it's in the image description. Let me make your life easier:

Too bad the tag nowiki doesn't function on wikia.

OK, first, don't add px sizes to images in a thumbnail, the thumbnail has a default size that users can adjust for themselves. Second, you can use just "thumb" for thumbnail. Third, don't use "Image:", it's broken, use "File:" instead. Forth, "none" is used for inline images, which is not the best form for an example image, especially if you want a caption. If you want a different location other than right, use either "left" or "center". Fifth, text marked "alt" is for screen readers and mouseovers, and will not appear as a caption. Not all browsers will show it for mouseovers either.

As for the problem in the image, don't put spaces before content, the software assumes you wanted it in <pre> tags when you do that. You're list should be:

# item 1
#* item 1.1
#* item 1.2
# item 2

..which generates this:

1. item 1
   • item 1.1
   • item 1.2
2. item 2

It seem it does, however in the OP, I used the nowiki tag instead of code but it did not show as the code (thus generated the normal way). DynV 05:18, August 4, 2011 (UTC)
