Hello. I think that musicians should be added to the memory alpha wikia articles because Star Trek TNG has numerous musicians. I thought that there were only three, but there are at least six. The three main ones are in alphabetical order: Jay Chattaway, Ron Jones, and Dennis McCarthy. (or in Chronological order: Dennis McCarthy, Ron Jones, and Jay Chattaway) ... I had always thought that Ron Jones composed the music for Too Short A Season, and that Jay Chattaway composed music for Face of The Enemy and The Pegasus. Since there are at least six musicians for Star Trek TNG, I think it would be useful to put the episode's musician in the infobox of each episode's article. I have mixed views on this. I understand the logic in placing such information on the episode pages, but I fear that the same argument could be made for any of the crew members(prop masters, makeup, etc.) and doing that for everyone would then unnecessarily lengthen the episode articles, and render the crew lists on the season pages redundant and unnecessary. I think, but could be mistaken, that part of the rationale in putting the crew members on the Season articles is precisely to have the crew(which was often, if not always, similar from episode to episode) in one location instead of several.
I currently think things should stay the way they are, but I'm not married to that position. 31dot (talk) 15:12, November 19, 2012 (UTC)
I do prefer the way it is now. Especially for TNG we have long lists on the seasons articles because of the many people who worked behind the camera, TNG Season 4 for example. To add all the people to every episode page will confuse readers and will only repeat information which is comprehensive right now. When talking about the musicians I first thought about the fourty musicians who worked on Trek, not the composers. Tom (talk) 18:15, November 19, 2012 (UTC)

Just the music composers, not the entire orchestra. I think the orchestra members are uncredited. I don't know why there wouldn't be room in the infobox for an episode's music composer. In Correct (talk) 18:54, November 19, 2012 (UTC)

I'm just wondering where it stops after that. If you're going to include that it's hard not to allow other crew members. 31dot (talk) 19:31, November 19, 2012 (UTC)
Note:I've renamed this to be more accurate. 31dot (talk) 19:35, November 19, 2012 (UTC)
