So I was wondering if that is possible.. that's all The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dudebroman (talkcontribs).

Short answer, yes. Long answer, sometimes. - Archduk3 00:59, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you! just wondering, why sometimes? does it have something to do with the power from warp and weapons? was wondering if Shields go down during warp speeds..

Thanks =]

It has to do with how the writers feel about it week to week. There is little in-universe consistency. --OuroborosCobra talk 02:40, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
Essentially, what seems to be the case is that in general, they can be fired at warp, but sometimes extenuating circumstances will prevent that from being so. Also, earlier in the development of such weapons, this was still an open problem; in ENT: "Fallen Hero", Mr. Reed said that particle discharge from the phase cannons would destabilize their warp field and blow out their nacelles, but that he was working on the problem; IIRC, in later episodes of ENT they did fire phase cannons at warp, so presumably he succeeded. In the later series, weapons could almost always be fired while at warp. -Mdettweiler 04:14, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
