Moved from talk:James T. Kirk.

when does he say 'beam me up, scotty'? and why isn't there an article on said phrase? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Multiverseman (talk • contribs).

That's just a common phrase that was not actually said in the show but used by fans. — Morder (talk) 22:21, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

still deserves a mention! The preceding unsigned comment was added by Multiverseman (talk • contribs).

Why should it be mentioned if it wasn't used in the show?--31dot 23:14, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

it is a part of culture as much as 'play it again, sam," or "elementary, my dear watson". even shows unrelated to star trek use this line, whether it was actually used or not! Multiverseman 23:27, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

You would be looking for Star Trek parodies and pop culture references, Star Trek tributes, or Star Trek. One of these pages may be the correct spot you are looking for, though to be honest, these are the, shall we say, more neglected parts of the site, since they fall into the gray areas of the project and there is only so much time. - Archduk3 23:47, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
