The new "Into Darkness" graphic next to the icon for the Wiki looks terrible in every browser I use, with pieces missing and generally low-quality, like something from the late 1990s. 21:36, June 30, 2013 (UTC)

That's because it's actually a scaled down high quality image that includes the falling debris inside the text as seen in the trailers. - Archduk3 21:45, June 30, 2013 (UTC)
I guess we can revert to the standard version now, anway. -- Cid Highwind (talk) 13:58, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
And done. -- Cid Highwind (talk) 14:59, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
I wish I had seen this earlier, since I had planed to leave the graphic up until the film had been released everywhere, which is late August (or until I figured out what the fonts are for the AR films titles). - Archduk3 17:32, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
I thought they used the same font as TOS (except not italic). StalwartUK 17:40, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
There are poster versions with a clear enough font to copy the outline from. I uploaded a new version with a recreated text. -- Cid Highwind (talk) 19:13, July 14, 2013 (UTC)
I've found a poster version with less falling debris which I think looks better than the simple white to black gradiented text use on some of the posters. I think this one doesn't look as "broken" as the original while still retaining the "gritty" feel that most of the text had.
Regarding the font, I though the original Star Trek font was always italicized, and the new one was just paying homage to it. Either way, I was thinking of looking at other font options for the standard, or at least realigning the text to match the new search bar (since the text was aligned to match the original search bar). - Archduk3 19:39, July 15, 2013 (UTC)
