Forty Years of Science Fiction Television Featuring: Star Trek is a documentary that briefly touches on many historical aspects of forty years of science fiction television series, from the earliest ventures of Captain Video and His Video Rangers of 1948 to Star Trek: The Next Generation in the 1980s and '90s. The documentary was released in 1990 by Simitar Entertainment, Inc.

The Star Trek segment was the longest, running for more than half of the show. It talked about the history of the series and showed the blooper reel.
