Flight school was an educational program in which potential pilots were taught how to fly airborne craft and spacecraft.

Flight school was part of Starfleet in the 22nd century. It was located in San Francisco. (ENT: "Twilight", et al.)

Jonathan Archer attended flight school. On the day before he entered flight training, Archer asked his father, Henry, what would happen if something went wrong or if he himself failed, to which his father simply replied, "Don't fail." (ENT: "Daedalus") On his first day in flight school, Archer had his photograph taken. (ENT: "Similitude") He met Margaret Mullin while in flight school, at the age of twenty-four, and, the night before he graduated, he asked her to marry him, though she declined, saying she preferred not to become "a Starfleet widow." (ENT: "Twilight")

Archer, while attempting to pilot Enterprise NX-01 through a debris field from the ship's helm as T'Pol gave him navigational instructions from her scope at the science station, admitted that he felt as if he was back in flight school. (ENT: "Singularity")

While endeavoring to deceive Degra that he himself had been interrogated by Xindi using bloodworms which had suppressed his memory, Archer claimed he couldn't remember anything "since flight school." (ENT: "Stratagem")

In the 24th century, the J'naii ran a flight school which Soren entered while as young as possible to do so. One of the flight school's instructors was Krite, who taught Soren in the J'naii flight school. (TNG: "The Outcast")

In the first draft script of aborted film Star Trek: The Beginning, flight school was referred to once, established as the source of information where main character Lieutenant Jaxx had learned a particular flight maneuver, performed in cases where a pilot was being pursued. Jaxx recalled the flight maneuver; "Head straight for Titan... graze her atmosphere... and let her gravity help your turn... while your bogies... well... they just fly on by."
