Template:Realworld A flashback is a moment in comics, novels, films, or television episodes that shows events that took place in the past. Several Star Trek episodes have featured flashbacks.
Flashbacks were used in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Orb experiences could also be described as a form of a flashback, such as in DS9: "The Collaborator".
