Fina Prime was the inhabited prime planet in the Fina system. This was the home of a Vidiian colony. This colony was over ten light years from the "home colony" of Doctor Denara Pel.

In 2372, Dr. Pel was treating a Phage outbreak on this planet. (VOY: "Lifesigns")

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 85), the Fina system was a binary star system. Primary was a Class F star with a magnitude of +3, which was ten times the brightness of Sol. Secondary was a Class F star. The USS Voyager visited this system on stardate 49504.
