Could I convert this image to the lossles .tiff format?--Mac Lover Talk 20:16, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- "The following file name extensions are permitted for uploads. These are the only file extensions permitted."
- Images: png, jpg, jpeg, gif
- Sounds: mp3, ogg
- So no, that would not be preferred. --Alan del Beccio 20:20, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Lossless?
Oh, sorry. I didn't know that .png is lossless. That deafeats the point of converting to .tiff.--Mac Lover Talk 21:56, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
New logo image
Just wanted to explain why I changed the logo: In an upcoming article for Ex astris scientia I researched the different versions of the Dominion Logo and realized, that the version previously seen here, all over the net and in fact in the Star Trek Encyclopedia was never seen on screen. So I talked to Shisma and he created a correct version of the logo (well, one of the three different versions seen on screen). I chose this version, as it was seen most often and is closest in design to the logo seen everwhere on the net. I hope everything will be a little clearer when the article goes online. --Jörg 09:22, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- As this image was created by Shisma, not Paramount, it does not need the {{imageparamount}} "fair use" description added. The license essentially is that it was made by Shisma. --OuroborosCobra talk 18:10, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
