United International Pictures (UIP) is a film distribution company, based in London, UK. Founded in 1981 as a reorganization of Cinema International Corporation, the company was a joint venture of MGM Studios, Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios. Jointly owned by Paramount and Universal since 2001, UIP is responsible for the distribution of theatrical releases made by the studios outside North America.

UIP distributed many of the Star Trek films outside North America in certain (but not all) foreign territories, from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan to Star Trek Nemesis, and helped in the promotion of those releases.

UIP is currently responsible for distribution in 20 countries, with the individual studios directly controlling releases in 15 other "key countries", which includes the United States and the United Kingdom. When the Star Trek movie franchise was rebooted in the alternate universe, starting with the 2009 movie Star Trek, UIP continued to distribute these in the territories they oversee.
