"Sledgehammer" is a promotional single written by Sia Furler, Jesse Shatkin and Robyn Rihanna Fenty aka Rihanna and performed by Rihanna for the main release of Star Trek Beyond. [1]
The song plays over the film's closing credits, but was not included in the soundtrack.
The song's video features Rihanna on an alien world (with a Yorktown type space station in the sky), and concludes with her coming face-to-face with the USS Enterprise. [2] It was filmed with an IMAX camera. [3]
The Chinese release of Beyond features a different song, "Lost in the Stars", by Chinese pop star Zhang Jie (aka Jason Zhang).
