Rick Burns is the actor who appeared as a Risian bistro patron in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Two Days and Two Nights". He received no credit for this appearance and filmed his scenes on Monday 27 March 2002 on Paramount Stage 9.
Burns started his acting career in the 1980s with appearances in the short film Proof (1980), The Winds of War (1983, with Jeremy Kemp, Lawrence Pressman, and Elizabeth Hoffman), Braker (1985, with Allan Graf), No Man's Land (1987, with Bernie Pock, Kenny Endoso, Danitza Kingsley, Jeff O'Haco, and Joseph Michael Roth), and Something Is Out There (1988, with Gregory Sierra, John Putch, Christopher Carroll, Matthew Faison, Anne Elizabeth Ramsay, and Brian Thompson).
He also appeared in episodes of Cagney & Lacey (1982, with Earl Billings), Our Family Honor (1985, with Daphne Ashbrook, Georgann Johnson, Gregg Henry, and Ron Perlman), Amazing Stories (1986, with Tim Russ and Gregory Wagrowski), and Dark Shadows (1991, with Ben Cross, Jean Simmons, Michael Cavanaugh, Stefan Gierasch, and Julianna McCarthy).
Further credits include the television thriller Sex, Love and Cold Hard Cash (1993, with Joel Swetow, Don Fischer, Tony Epper, Henry Kingi, Sr., John P. Connolly, and Eric Pierpoint), the short comedy Evil Hill (1999), guest roles in Judging Amy (1999), Arrest & Trial (2000), and Resurrection Blvd. (2001, with Tony Plana), the short films White Men in Seminole Flats (2004), Fourteen (2006), and Santa Croce (2007), the drama Lions for Lambs (2007), Beowulf (2007, with Greg Ellis, Shay Duffin, and Dominic Keating), and the short drama The Oldest Hypocrisy (2008) on which he also worked as producer.
More recently, Burns appeared in Exodus Fall (2011), the short drama Moonscape (2011), and Hitchcock (2012, with Kurtwood Smith, Wallace Langham, Spencer Garrett, Tom Virtue, Frank Collison, L.L. Ginter, René Auberjonois, and Bill Blair).
