When Apella expressed the difficulty of dividing one woman, Krell suggested she be given to the villager who killed more of her people than the others, reasoning that it would give them an incentive to fight. (TOS: "A Private Little War")

Tyree, Yutan, Kirk, and seven other Hill People
Several hill people accompanied Tyree and Yutan when Kirk explained to Tyree how to use a flintlock weapon. They took part in target practice with the weapon. (TOS: "A Private Little War")
Patrol group []
These hill people participated in a patrol along with Tyree and Yutan. They were nearly shot by a villager patrol group, before Kirk successfully alerted them. Later (without Tyree), they met McCoy and Kirk, who was suffering from the bite of a Mugato. They helped to bring Kirk into the village. Later they both participated in the target practice when Kirk shown the people how to fire a flintlock weapon. (TOS: "A Private Little War")

These two villagers guarded the village at night, and came into the barn when they heard the noise of brawling. They nearly shot Kirk, McCoy, and Tyree, but the trio successfully escaped, and subsequently rendered the second guard unconscious. (TOS: "A Private Little War")

These villagers participated in the patrol near the hill people's territory, in an attempt to ambush Tyree. The attempt failed, when Kirk alerted Tyree, however the first villager was successful in shooting, and wounding Spock. They later participated in the killing of Tyree's wife, Nona. This villager was part of a patrol group sent near the hill people's territory. Along with three other villagers, he participated in the killing of Tyree's wife, Nona. He alerted the patrol leader to Tyree and Kirk's ambush. (TOS: "A Private Little War")

The patrol leader was a villager who led a patrol of three, in an attempt to ambush Tyree, the head of the Hill People. The attempt failed, when Kirk alerted Tyree. He later killed Nona, wife of Tyree, when he thought she led him into a trap. He also stood guard in the village at night and was rendered unconscious by Kirk and Tyree. (TOS: "A Private Little War")
