Jolene Kay (born 13 May) is an actress and model who played a supporting role as a sciences division crewmember in Star Trek. [1] She was hired for one month and appeared in several bridge scenes. Kay admired the work of J.J. Abrams and mentioned also the "Fort Knox" like security regulations on the set. According to her official site and her resume, her character was named Lieutenant Adams. [2]

Born in the Midwest, Kay graduated from the University of Missouri with a BA in Theater. Her first feature role was as a luchadora in the Mil Mascaras film Academy of Doom. She calls herself a science fiction fan and worked as a rock climbing instructor before she studied acting under Penelope Masters, Nigel Hawthorne, and Barry Wilkers. Among her favorite actors are Patrick Stewart, Tom Hanks, and Meryl Streep.

Kay appeared in several stage plays, including the leading role in Romeo and Juliet at Avenue Theater. Beside several voice-overs and commercials, she worked as a stand-in on the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007, with Matt Winston) and on a few short films.
