Lieutenant Commander Hester Dealt was a male Human Starfleet officer in the 24th century.
In 2365, he was the medical trustee of the Federation Medical Collection Station on 'aucdet IX.
Later in 2365, Dealt supervised the delicate transport of a plasma plague to the Science Station Tango Sierra via the USS Enterprise-D along with Chief engineering officer Geordi La Forge. He prepared a manifest of the viral specimens, inspected the containment module La Forge built for the transfer and continually monitored the specimens for signs of growth. When growth was detected, he isolated it, but needed to collaborate with the Enterprise crew to determine the cause. Dealt was left at Tango Sierra when transport was complete. (TNG: "The Child")
