Ideograms of both ancient and 24th century Bajoran language (with English translation provided) as it appeared from the tablet describing the Reckoning, found in the Holy City of B'hala in 2374. (DS9: "The Reckoning")

Both versions appeared and were read aloud from the computer monitor by Benjamin Sisko. By the way Sisko was reading the text, it would suggest that this form of writing is read from left-to-right, top-to-bottom.
