The shuttlecraft Fermi was a type-6 shuttlecraft attached to the USS Enterprise-D. It was shuttlecraft 16.
The Fermi was used to ferry supplies to the surface of Tagra IV during the Enterprise's relief mission there in 2369. (TNG: "True Q")
The Fermi caught in a molecular reversion field.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Ensign Ro Laren, botanist Keiko O'Brien, and Guinan took the Fermi to Marlonia. Upon their return, the Fermi was trapped in a molecular reversion field and destroyed. The crew transported out, but were turned into 12 year olds after passing through the field. (TNG: "Rascals")
