Picards painting

Picard's painting

Fauvism was an Earth art movement from the late 19th and early 20th century.

In 2366, Jean-Luc Picard painted a picture that was inspired by fauvism. Lieutenant Commander Data, who was not too fond of the picture, stated that while "suggesting the free treatment of form usually attributed to Fauvism", the painter "quite inappropriately attempted to juxtapose the disparate cubistic styles of Picasso and Léger. In addition, the use of color suggested a haphazard melange of clashing styles." Furthermore, Data was not too happy with "the unsettling overtones of proto-Vulcan influences."
